The Bank Hotel is ideally located close to the attractions in Edinburgh city centre offering visitors a hotel with plenty of charm and character.

The hotel building was built back in 1923 and was once a bank, the hotel has three storeys and has been refurbished a few years ago and retains many period features. In total the 3 star hotel has 9 bedrooms all of which offer en-suite facilities and benefit from LCD televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, tea and coffee making amenities and CD players. There are also executive bedrooms available offering more luxury.

Each of the rooms is individually designed and decorated and are all named after a famous Scot. The Bank Hotel offers an interesting alternative to the large hotel chains, the individually designed rooms in the historic building offers a warm and friendly atmosphere of a boutique hotel. Breakfasts on offer include a full Scottish and continental style breakfasts.

The Bank Bar is a place where guests can sit back and unwind in a relaxed atmosphere, there are a wide range of drinks on offer including beers and malts along with a daily food menu. The bar offers free Wi-Fi internet connections and has an outdoor seating area that overlooks the famous Royal Mile.

The hotel is well located close by to famous attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and a few minutes walk from Waverley train station. Edinburgh Airport is assessable by public transport via the Airlink bus service which runs from the airport to the city centre with a frequency of every 10 minutes.

The hotel is located in the city centre close by to a number of shopping facilities, art galleries, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues in the Scottish capital. The hotel is a convenient place from which to explore the attractions in the Edinburgh & Lothians regions and surrounding. The A8 offers access to Edinburgh Airport located approx 8 miles away by road.
