Brean Leisure Park includes a theme park, water park, golf club & holiday accommodation, located close by to Western-super-Mare in Somerset. The park is located close by to a number of beaches on the Somerset coast in south west England. Brean Leisure Park is located over a 10 acre site next to the seaside. The theme park has steadily grown for the past few decades continuing to add new rides and attractions and currently includes in excess of 40 rides and attractions.

Attractions


Brean Leisure Park includes a choice of rides and attractions that includes family thrill rides to kids rides designed for children to enjoy. The Family Thrill Rides offers visitors plenty of action and excitement whilst the kids’ rides offer something for younger member of the family to enjoy. The park includes a golf course, live entertainment and is home of television show Sooty.

The Family Thrill Rides includes the Speed Wave ride that takes visitors spinning high in to the sky for plenty of excitement. Astro Storm is an exciting roller coaster in the dark , whilst the Waltzer offers plenty of fun for the whole family where visitors spin around to music. With the Crazy Boats ride visitors can enjoy driving their own motorised boat whilst using the water cannon to soak friends and family! Shockwave is a large looping roller coaster that offers plenty of thrills and excitement.

The Kids Rides offer great fun and excitement for younger visitors, rides include the Fantasia ride that includes a convoy of cars, motorcycles and lorries. Pony Express allows visitors to ride their pony through the wild west. Looney Tunes takes visitors on a ride with their favourite cartoon characters and includes lifting helicopters for the more daring. The Bumpy Slide is a large slide where children can glide down from top to bottom.

The park is the home of CITV’s Scooty, the show is filmed here and children have the chance to meet Sooty each day at 3pm with the Sooty meet and greet. Visitors can see the actual props and sets used filming the show and see 60 years worth of Sooty memorabilia.

The parks hosts a number of events during the course of the year including fireworks displays, Halloween haunts adventures and Scooty meeting and greetings. In addition there are a number of entertainment venues on site, these include the Tavern and Dickies where visitors can find a host of entertainment that includes comedies, bands, speciality acts, cabarets and much more.

The Brean Golf Club offers both annual membership of pay and play options, there is an 18 hole golf course located in 120 acres of meadowland, making it a firm favourite among golfing aficionados. There is also a family pitch and putt course over 9 holes suitable for players of all abilities.

How to Get There


The site is accessible by both car and public transport.

By Car:

The distance from central London is approx 152 miles with a journey time of approx 3 hours.

From London take the A4 then the M4 until junction 20. At junction 20 of the M4 take the M5 towards Bristol (West), at junction 22 of the M5 take the exit for Bristol (west) airport, then take the B3140. Drive on to Berrow Road, then Barton Road, Parsonage Road, Pinnockscroft and on to Coast Road and keep driving until the theme park appears on the right.

Car Parking is available on site, the cost is approx £2.50 for all day parking.

For those using Satellite Navigation systems the postcode to use is TA8 2QY.

By Train:

From London Paddington Station there are services to Western-super-Mare railway station with a journey time of around 2 hours 20 minutes approx. From Western-super-Mare visitors can get either a taxi or the bus route 112.

Bus/Coach:

There are regular coach services from London Victoria coach station to Brean Sands Pontins Holiday Park located under 10 minutes walk from the theme park, the journey time is approx 3 hours 35 minutes to 4 hours 35 minutes depending on time of day & traffic.

Opening Times:

Brean Leisure Park is usually open from late March to the start of November:

Mon to Sun: 10.30 to 17.00/20.30 approx. There are certain days when the opening times vary due to weather conditions.

Facilities:

There are a number of eateries on site that includes well known names such as Subway and Wimpy along with Southern Fried Chicken and a Grill and Bar where visitors can find a range of light snacks and more substantial meals. The Ice Cream Parlour offers a choice of tempting ice creams & is open during the summer and school holidays.
