Business Customs and Etiquette
Business meetings should be made in advance, business attire is conservative and smart, greetings are usually done with a handshake, business cards are usually exchanged after introductions. Titles are used when addressing people unless invited to use first names. Punctuality for business meetings is important.
For business people visiting, the best months are between October and May. Many Maltese business people speak English however interpreters are available if needed.
Travel Advice and Tips
Malta has a relatively low crime rate committed against visitors and the majority of visits each year are incident free. You should however be aware of pick pockets and bag snatchers, incidents of car crime do occur and valuables should not be left in cars. Valuables should be kept away from public view and it is always wise to be alert and vigilant to your surroundings and environment.

Malta Weather & Climate
Mata has a subtropical Mediterranean characterised by mild winters and warm to hot summers. Malta has year round sunshine making it a popular holiday destination, the summer season is from May to October and the period from July to September is the peak tourist season and when temperatures peak, the days can also be humid. For those after cooler temperatures, the winter offers relatively mild days although there is more rain in the winter.
There are a number of beaches tourists can enjoy in Malta whilst in the winter winder surfers enjoy the stronger winds. The mild climate makes Malta a destination that can be visited throughout the year.
Lightweight cotton and linen clothing can be warn in the summer months; water proof clothing/light coats are required in the winter. A jumper or light coat is also useful if visiting in the spring or autumn with cooler mornings and evenings.
