The closest Underground (Tube) station is located at London Victoria and St James’s Park station located a few minutes walk away, both stations offer quick access across London.

Facilities


There are a total of 357 en-suite guest bedrooms at the hotel. The rooms provide comfortable accommodation and are furnished to a good standard, guests can choose from standard, deluxe and executive rooms, for greater luxury and more space there are also suites available. All guest rooms are non-smoking and there is 24 hour room service available.

Room facilities include television with satellite channels, telephone, alarm clock, toiletries, hairdryer, iron and ironing facilities, work desk and tea and coffee making facilities.

There is Wi-Fi internet access available in the hotel (chargeable). There are no on site car parking facilities, however there are car parking facilities at the NCP car park in Semley Place located just under 10 minutes walk away, the approx cost is £34 per day.

The hotel offers a range of facilities for business meetings, events and conferences with catering services for up to 200 delegates. There are also facilities for private functions and gatherings such as weddings with banqueting facilities for up to 200 guests.

Guests can choose from a full English breakfast or a Continental breakfast including a variety of breads, preserves, pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices and tea and coffee.

The Grosvenor Brasserie is a place where guests can enjoy a meal in an informal atmosphere, the cuisine is French with a range of meat, fish and vegetable dishes available with both light and main meals on offer and a range of temping desserts.

The Grosvenor Lounge offers guests a place where they can sit back and relax there are a range of hot and cold drinks available including teas, coffees, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits. The lounge also serves afternoon tea, there is a relaxed atmosphere and is a great place to catch up with family and friends.

The hotel is situated in the Victoria area of London offering a fine location from which to see the various sights and attractions of one of the world’s great cities. Green Park and St James’s Park offer tranquil green spaces close by, whilst Buckingham Palace is located walking distance away. The Royal Court Theatre and the Victoria Palace Theatre are located within walking distance.

The famous luxury department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols are located in Knightsbridge one mile or a short tube ride away. The West End with Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Theatreland offer visitors with plenty of shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues are located close by via a short taxi or tube ride.

Kensington Palace and Gardens are located 3 away located at the western end of Hyde Park. Marble Arch and the famous shopping streets of Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street are located under 3 miles away. The West End and Theatreland is located 3 miles away, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are all within 1.5 miles of the hotel via a short taxi ride or the tube.

The World Heritage Site at Maritime Greenwich includes a number of famous attractions such as the Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum, the site is approx 8 miles from the hotel.

The world famous Hyde Park is located one mile from the hotel, the park offers a wonderful landscape in central London covering and area of 350 acres offering a great place to enjoy a number of walks, take part in boating, enjoy horse riding, rollerblading and eating out. Famous sights such as Marble Arch are within walking distance from Hyde Park.

Shopping in London offers visitors a huge choice of shopping facilities, the capital is home to some of the most famous shopping streets in the world including Oxford Street and Regent Street. Here visitors can find a wide range of stores to suit a range of budgets including famous department stores such as Selfridges, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser.

The world renowned Kew Gardens, one of the world’s leading botanic gardens containing a huge range of plants and fungi. Twickenham is home to the rugby stadium and fascinating Museum of Rugby. Kensington Palace is a firm favourite among visitors well known as the home of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Central London contains some of the world’s best known districts; Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair, Piccadilly and Westminster are all located relatively close to each other. The area is also a shopper’s paradise with Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street among others to explore. Close by is fashionable Carnaby Street that came to symbolise the swinging sixties. London contains many markets including famous ones such as Covent Garden Market and Portobello Road Market to many smaller ones offering visitors with plenty of choice.

The city of London square mile area is home to many financial institutions based in London. There is an extraordinary concentration of banks from all over the world, insurance firms and all types of financial institutions.

There are a number of fine historical buildings here such as Westminster Abbey located in central London. There is also Buckingham Palace in the area, possibly the most famous palace in the world, visitors can go on guided tours so see inside the palace.

The hotel provides a convenient place from which to discover a range of attractions in the surrounding areas both in central London and the outer suburbs. Visitors can use a variety of modes of transport to get around ranging from using taxis to public transport with buses, trains, Underground (Tube) and cycling with cycling hire stations available across the capital.

In Kent attractions include historic Leeds Castle, Chartwell House and the World Heritage Sites in Canterbury.
