Tourists to London can contact of visit the various tourist information centres (TICs) located in London to get more information, help and advice on a range of travel and holiday related areas. The centres have a range of detailed information for tourists to read through, with other services offered including helping with booking of tours and any accommodation needs you may have. The official TICs provide visitors with up to date information and have trained staff where they can help you gain great local knowledge and tips.

The advice and help given is free of charge and is well worth seeking out if you need more information, advice or need to check something with travel experts. It can save you time and worry to get any queries you may have sorted out with the help of travel experts rather than trying to solve all issues yourself that may be confusing or difficult to sort out.

The City of London Information Centre is the main tourist information centre that covers London and the whole of the UK. The staff at the centre offer free advice and help on different aspects of your travel requirements in the UK from organising and booking your trips and excursions in London to planning your trip to other parts of the UK. The staff are conversant in a range of languages including Afrikaans, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Swedish and others.

The centre is located at St Paul’s Churchyard in central London close to the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. The address is:

The opening times are:

Monday: 09.30 - 17.30
Tuesday: 09.30 - 17.30
Wednesday: 09.30 - 17.30
Thursday: 09.30 - 17.30
Friday: 09.30 - 17.30
Saturday: 09.30 – 17.30
Sunday: 10.00 to 16.00

The centre is closed on Christmas Day & Boxing Day (25 & 26 Dec)

The central location means the centre is very assessable by public transport including by bus routes 4, 11, 15, 17, 23, 26, 76, 100, 172 (among others) & Tube (Underground), where visitors need to get off at either St Paul’s or Mansion House stations.
