The guest house is ideal for those after budget no frills accommodation in the city centre, it is suitable for those on business and leisure with its central location making it easy to get around the city.

The guest house is made up of 4 townhouses that have retained their original period features and character and is a good base from which to explore a number Glasgow attractions, shopping and entertainment.


There are a total of 81 guest bedrooms offering a choice of en-suite and shared facilities. Guests can choose from single, twin, double, triple and family rooms.

McLays offers very competitive pricing with bed and breakfast accommodation available. The rooms are furnished to a good standard and offer comfortable accommodation. Visitors can expect a warm welcome from the friendly staff who have good local knowledge helping guests to get most from their visit to the city.

Room facilities include television with satellite channels, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, table and chair, wardrobe and adjustable heating.

There are two TV lounges where guests can sit back and relax, there are satellite channels available to view. Refreshments are available from the snack and soft drinks machines in the lobby.

There is free Wi-Fi internet access available at the hotel. There are no car parking facilities available on-site for hotel guests, there is limited street parking available close by the approx cost is £6 per day.
