The Junction Restaurant is the hotel restaurant offering diners a contemporary dining experience. The restaurant uses local ingredients from local producers where possible and includes a number of Welsh dishes. There are a choice of starters and light bites to try along with meat, fish and vegetable mains and a choice of tempting desserts.

The Junction bar enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where guests can chill out and relax over a drink and some light bites including sandwiches, burgers, sharing plates, soup and curries, it is a great place to catch up with family, friends and work colleagues. The hotel is situated in the heart of Cardiff, making it well located for exploring the range of attractions and places of interest in the Welsh capital. Cardiff has been a booming city in recent years, there has been much redesign and redevelopment in the city that offers visitors a range of arts and culture venues including galleries and museums. In addition the city is known for its range of shopping facilities including the famous historical arcades, with a number of local shops specialising in local arts and crafts and larger department stores. There are a choice of eateries, bars, cafes, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife in the city.

The hotel provides a good base from which to explore various Cardiff attractions and local places of interest.

Cardiff Castle is located in the heart of Cardiff city centre, a short walk from the hotel. One of the best known attractions in the city there are 2,000 years of history to discover here. The castle is full of history and character dating back to Roman times, there are a number of tours of the castle available to help visitors better understand the rich history and heritage. The Interpretation Centre includes a film and exhibition looking at 2,000 years of castle history.

Personal audio guides are available for visitors to tour the battlements, wartime tunnels, Norman Keep, impressive Victorian apartments and the grounds. Visitors can look out for the lavish interiors, murals, stained glass, gilding and impressive craftsmanship shown inside the rooms. Visitors can discover the wartime tunnels used during World War II and there is a family trail to follow that includes questions and quizzes.

The National Museum Cardiff; located at Cathays Park, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Inside are the national collections in arts, archaeology and geology. The Millennium Stadium is a short walk from the hotel. Located centrally in the city, the stadium has become one of the most recognisable modern icons of Wales. Sports fans can learn more about the stadium with guided tours available where you can see the VIP hospitality suite and the press conference suite, experience the atmosphere and anticipation of match day and see the Wales rugby team dressing room. The St Fagans Natural History Museum is located 4 miles from the hotel to the west of Cardiff. St Fagans is among Wales’s top historic attractions, located on the grounds of the 16th century St Fagans Castle, the museum re-creates the ways in which people in Wales lived, worked, and spent their leisure time, giving visitors a fascinating insight in to Welsh lifestyles and traditions. The museum hosts traditional festivals, dance events and music bringing the area to life. The historic buildings include a school, farm, chapel, houses and a workmen's institute.

The historic St John the Baptist Parish Church located at St John Street in the city centre, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Dating back to the 12th century, the building is one of the oldest buildings in Cardiff that is still in use. The church is in active use with regular worship, it is also used for baptisms and weddings along with art exhibitions, lectures and concerts.

Llandaff Cathedral cathedral located in Llandaff a short distance north of Cardiff city centre, 2 miles from the hotel. The 12th century cathedral is located on one of the oldest christen sites in the UK. The cathedral is also a parish church and includes prayer and music services. The Norwegian Church Arts Centre is located in Cardiff Bay, 3 miles from the hotel. The decline in the coal industry meant the church fell in to disrepair, however it was rebuilt back in 1992 and since 2006 has been a popular arts centre that includes a varied programme here including live music, events, functions, classes and workshops. The Dahl Gallery displays a range of art and photography exhibitions and there is a café bar on site.

Cardiff is among the top shopping destinations in the UK, offering visitors a varied choice of shopping facilities located here from high street shopping to designer brands and boutiques, to the historic shopping arcades the city is synonymous and modern shopping centres, there is something for everyone. St David’s shopping centre is located under 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The six historic Victorian and Edwardian arcades are Duke Street Arcade, High Street Arcade, Castle Arcade, Royal Arcade, Morgan Arcade and Wyndham Arcade, all of which are located within 10 minutes walk of the hotel.
