The All Saints Church Oakham is located in the heart of Oakham, the Grade I listed building dates back to the 14th century. The church is known for its tower and spire and dominates views around the area, it is the largest church in Rutland.
The church is in active use with a number of services each week, the church is open to visitors usually during daylight hours.
The town of Uppingham is located approx 6 miles south of Oakham in Rutland. Uppingham is a charming English market town known for its honey coloured buildings. The market town has a weekly market each Friday. The town includes a number of independent shops and retailers including speciality shops.
Visitors can find antique shops and unique items in glass, furniture and jewellery. The narrow streets and small shops are full of character offering visitors the opportunity to explore a quintessential English market town.
Uppingham is known for its art galleries, visitors can see a number of galleries including the Goldmark Gallery and Orange Street Gallery with various collections on display.
