Getting To Luton Airport

By Public Transport

Train:
The Luton Airport Parkway station is the rail terminal for the airport, it provides a free bus shuttle service taking passengers to and from the airport to the station, the journey time is approx 5 minutes and frequency is every 10 to 15 minutes. From Luton Airport Parkway station there are a number of routes served in to London such as the Thameslink service that takes you in to central London and beyond, there are services to the Midlands and Yorkshire. Bus & Coach:
There are a number of coaches that provide services to Luton airport. Green Line runs service 757 that runs daily from central London (Victoria, Marble Arch, Baker Street and Brent Cross) and Luton airport. National Express runs several routes to and from Luton airport to a range of destinations in London and across the regions. easyBus offers cheap services to the airport from central London (Victoria, Marble Arch, Baker Street) one way fares start from £2. By Car

London Luton airport is assessable from a number of major roads.

If you are travelling from the East and A1: take the A505 through Hitchin, the airport is located off the A505 and is signposted.

If you are travelling to and from the M25: From Dunstable, follow the signs for the airport.
From the M25 & M40, drive on to the M1 and exit at junction 10. On the M25 exit at junction 21 for access to the M1.

If you are travelling to and from the M1: The airport is approx half an hour drive from North London and is located just two miles from the M1. On the M1 exit at junction 10, the route to the airport is then signposted. Follow the signs for the airport.

Airport Car Parking

Luton airport has facilities for both Short Term & Long Term Car Parking. Short term There is a time period of up to 10 minutes only given to drop off passengers at the airport without incurring charges. This is not allowed for collecting passengers, for collection of passengers you need to use the short stay car park. The minimum cost of parking at the short term car park is £2.50 for up to 15 minutes, the cost is then £10 for 2 hours and £15 for 6 hours. With the steep cost of parking, it is worth pre booking parking to save some of the cost.

Long Term parking is available, charges start from £12.50 per day if you pay on the day you arrive. Mid term parking is for stays up to 5 days and costs £15 if you pay on the day. Long term parking (Pink Car Park) is designed for those wishing to have car parking for over 5 days, there is a minimum charge of 5 days when using this car park. The long term car parking can be pre booked, cheaper prices & discounts are available if you book earlier, if you do need long term airport parking it is well worth booking in advance rather than on the day to both guarantee a parking space and save money on parking costs.
