Attractions in the local area include the Peak District offering visitors a range of scenic walks and beautiful countryside. The historic spa town of Buxton is known for its impressive architecture and spring water, Buxton is located 25 miles from the hotel. There are plenty of activities on offer for visitors. The Silk Mill is located in Derby, it is part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. The mill is located on the site of one of the first factories in the world and includes displays, exhibitions and artefacts from local industries.
