The hotel is located a short distance from the seaside resort of Skegness in over 200 acres of scenic landscaped gardens in the quiet Lincolnshire countryside. The hotel offers good value accommodation and a wide range of facilities for the whole family. The hotel has a tranquil location perfect for a relaxing break and offers good access to local attractions and transport links.

Local transport links in the area include Skegness train station located just under one mile away; where there are services to the surrounding areas including Boston, Grantham and to Nottingham. From Nottingham station there are services to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and to London. There is access to local buses services and major roads. For visitors wishing to tour Lincolnshire county the rural nature of the county means public transportation can be limited and the easiest way to travel around the county is by car.

Visitors can expect a friendly welcome and good levels of service at the hotel. The hotel is located close by to Skegness where visitors can find easy access to local amenities. Skegness offers visitors with a range of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues. The closest train stations are located at Skegness, Havenhouse and Wainfleet.

There are a total of 62 en-suite guest bedrooms, the rooms are decorated and furnished to a good standard offering comfortable guest accommodation and facilities. Guests can choose from twin and double rooms and for more space and luxury there are suites available. There are rooms with disabled access. All of the rooms are non-smoking in accordance with hotel policy.

Room facilities include television, telephone, radio, alarm clock, safety deposit box, iron and ironing facilities, hairdryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities.

Wi-Fi internet access is available in guest rooms, the approx cost is £5 per day. There are free on-site car parking facilities for hotel guests.

Hotel guests have complimentary use of the hotel’s fully featured gymnasium. There is also a sun bed and sauna. Leisure facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi. There is a 9 hole golf course on site for Golf enthusiasts.

The restaurant offers diners an enjoyable dining experience with a range of dishes to choose from, there are a choice of meat, fish and vegetable dishes on the menu along with a choice of tempting desserts.

Lincolnshire offer visitors with scenic and rugged coastline with a range of landscapes, a rich history and culture along with the peaceful English countryside making it place well worth visiting.

There are a number of local attractions and places of interest located in the local area. The Embassy Theatre and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve are located within a few miles of the hotel. Skegness beach and the Seacroft Golf Club are located close by.

Skegness has long been a favourite destination for those after the traditional seaside experience. There is plenty of seaside fun and entertainment for the whole family from gardens, amusement arcades and donkey rides. The beaches are very popular among visitors, there are also activities available such as kite surfing and wind surfing.

The pier is popular with visitors and contains a number of attractions and the main road along the beach contains a range of attractions including crazy golf, amusement arcades, cafes and bars.

Skegness is home to the annual SO Festival, an arts and music festival that takes place in July each year. The town centre includes the Hildreds Shopping Centre with over 30 stores including famous high street names. Skegness is well known for the Butlins holiday camp located close by.

The town of Cleethorpes is located 35 miles from Lincoln and is popular among holiday makers and is known for its pier and the Pleasure Island Family Theme Park where there are a range of rides and shows for the whole family.

Lincolnshire has a scenic coastline including the coastal resort of Mablethorpe where visitors can see some dramatic coastline and a number of beaches offering a quieter alternative to Skegness away from the crowds. The coastline is ideal for touring by car and cycling and the various coastal walk paths make the area a favourite with walkers.

Golfers are well catered for with over 50 golf courses in the county including in the countryside, the Cleethorpes coast and the Skegness coast. The scenic courses offer something for golfers of all abilities.

Kinema in the Woods is a traditional cinema located at Woodhall Spa located approx 20 miles from Lincoln. Here visitors can see the latest cinematic releases in a charming Edwardian cinema complete with traditional seating.

The Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is located a few miles from Skegness. The nature reserve is an important habitat for native and migratory birds and is a favourite among nature lovers and bird watchers. Walkers have the Viking Way long distance path where there are a range of opportunities for enjoying a number of walks. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is an area with rolling upland split by valleys; there are quiet, peaceful small villages each with its own individual character and charm.

The City of Lincoln is the best known city in the area and has a range of attractions for visitors. There are a number of historic buildings here including the 10th century Jew’s House that is now a restaurant. The Usher Art Gallery includes a range of collections including a range of silver, miniatures, watches and porcelain. Historic attractions include Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle; both are located in the city.

Lincoln Cathedral dates back to medieval times and incorporates Romanesque architecture. The large size of the castle ensures it can be viewed from 20 miles in all directions. The exterior of the castle is impressive having been described as art in stone, visitors can view the stunning carvings in the stones and wood. The castle is well known for the central tower that reaches in excess of 270 feet.

Dating back to the 11th century Lincoln Castle is built on the site of the Roman Fort of Lindum. The castle has a huge 12th century curtain wall along with two mottes, two gates, and a large round tower Cobb Hall. A Georgian building in the bailey contains one of the original Magna Carta documents sealed by King John. The castle includes a heraldry centre, magna carta exhibition, gift shop and café & refreshments. There are scenic grounds around the castle where many visitors enjoy picnics in a beautiful setting.

The Waterside Shopping Centre is located in the city centre and includes 35 stores including fashion stores and well known high street names. Lincolnshire has a mix of shopping centres, independent shops and traditional local markets. The area is known for its historic market towns such as Horncastle known for its antique shops.

The Museum of Lincolnshire Life is located in Lincoln and contains a range of exhibitions and displays outlining the history of the local area including in social history, business, arts and industry. There are a number of special events, educational talks and quizzes visitors can take part in. The museum offers a fascinating insight in to all aspect of life in the county.

The Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum is located 5 miles from Lincoln includes road transportation of all varieties dating from the 1920s up to the 1980s. The museum includes vehicles that have strong historical links with Lincolnshire including a range of cars, buses, lorries and fire engines.

The Normanby Hall Victorian Walled Garden is located just over 30 miles from Lincoln close to Scunthorpe, the impressive garden maintains is Victorian splendour with a range of vegetables, flowers and fruits. Visitors can see a wonderful example of a restored Victorian garden here along with the impressive English mansion house offering an interesting day out.

Grantham is a town located 25 miles from Lincoln; historic attractions include the 14th century Church of St. Wulfram, which includes a spire at close to 300 feet. The church is situated close by to the 15th century school where the famous physicist Isaac Newton was formerly a pupil, former prime minister Margaret Thatcher is also from the town. Grantham House is one of the oldest buildings in the town, having been built in the 14th century; it is known for its architecture that encompasses several eras and the riverside walled garden.

The town of Spalding is 45 miles from Lincoln; the town is among the main bulb growing centres in the UK providing plenty of colour. In May locals celebrate the Spalding Flower Parade and horticultural enthusiasts can enjoy the Springfield Gardens.

Tattershall Castle is located 20 miles from Lincoln, the historic 15th century castle offers visitors with six floors to explore including four great chambers with huge Gothic fireplaces, tapestries and brick vaulting. There are some truly stunning views across the fens from the battlements and a guardhouse with museum room. Visitors can use the audio guides at the castle to explore the grounds and feel a real sense of history.

Burgley House is located close to the town of Stamford in Lincolnshire; the house is among the best known attractions in the county. The 16th century house is among the grandest house of the first Elizabethan Age. The rooms have impressive collections of precious works of art and are known for its Italian paintings, Japanese ceramics and rare examples of European porcelain. There are also four State Rooms where visitors can see fine examples of English and European furniture, tapestries and textiles.

The Collection Museum and the Usher Art Gallery are located in Lincoln and include an impressive collection of fine and decorative arts. The Usher Gallery opened back in 1927 and the collection includes permanent pieces along with loans and exchanges with other museums and collections. The gallery has a dynamic programme of temporary exhibitions; visitors can walk through the Temple Gardens or enjoy a picnic in scenic surroundings.

Rand Farm Park is located a few miles from Lincoln and offers a fun day out for the whole family. It is a genuine working farm for children of all ages to experience and enjoy. The farm contains a number of animals that visitors can feed, touch and cuddle. The farm offers a fun way for the whole family to learn more about farms and the animals. There is an indoor play area and a tearoom on site.
