Getting To Blackpool Airport

By Public Transport

Train: There is no rail terminal at the airport, the closest station is Squires Gate Lane station where services operate once every hour, at approx 53 minutes past the hour, direct to Preston station. By Car: The airport is located close to Blackpool town centre, it is situated at the end of the M55 motorway which links to the M6, M61 & M65. The airport can be found by driving to the end of the M55 where it becomes the A5230, drive to the first roundabout and take the first exit, then drive to the next roundabout & take the third exit, proceed through three sets of traffic lights and the airport is then on the left.

Airport Car Parking

Blackpool airport has facilities for both Short Term & Long Term Car Parking. Short term car parking charges start from free is you stay for up to 15 minutes, useful if you are dropping someone off at the airport or are collecting someone who is already out of customs & immigration going up to approx £27.00 for 24 hours stay.

Long Term parking is available the price is approx £19 per day is you book on the day. Cheaper prices are available if you book earlier, if you do need airport parking it is well worth booking in advance rather than on the day to both guarantee a parking space and save money on parking costs.
