There are a total of 72 guest bedrooms offering en-suite facilities. There are a choice of single, double, twin and family rooms along with rooms with a lake view for guests to choose from. Many of the rooms offer inspiring views of Grasmere Lake whilst some offer views of the mountains and fells located around the village.

Attractions in the local area include Dove Cottage located opposite the hotel, famous for being the home of William Wordsworth. Visitors can go on a cruise on Lake Windermere located just over 9 miles away, there are guided tours including walking and coach tours available.
The hotel is a good place from which to discover other Cumbria attractions including the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Abbot and Holker Hall, Blackwell Arts and Crafts House and Wastwater Lake. The hotel central location in the Lake District been it is well located for discovering the Northern Lakes and coast in the Lake District and the market town of Keswick.
