Bovey Castle offers a total of 65 spacious guest bedrooms, each of which is individually designed. The rooms are designed in keeping with the 1920s artistic feel. The rooms all offer en-suite facilities and room facilities include television with satellite channels, telephone, radio, hairdryer, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.

There is 24 hour room service available along with Wi-Fi internet access and on site car parking for guests.

There are number of meeting and conference facilities at the castle including integrated presentation facilities for up to 130 delegates. The castle offers facilities for smaller meetings too along with private dining rooms and private lodges.

The scenic surroundings make Bovey Castle a popular wedding location; there are facilities for weddings and receptions for up to 150 guests.

There a number of leisure facilities including swimming pool, full featured gymnasium and a range of beauty and pampering spa treatments at the beauty salon.

There is a 18 hole championship golf course for golfing aficionados suitable for both amateur and professional golfers.

Dining


Each morning guests can enjoy a hot full English breakfast or a Continental breakfast with a choice of breads, preserves, cereals, fruits and hot and cold drinks. There is also a vegetarian breakfast option available.

Diners can enjoy a fine dining experience at the Edwardian restaurant, the restaurant is designed in an art deco style reminiscent from a bygone era of style and elegance and provides a great ambiance in which to enjoy a great meal.

The restaurant uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create a range of dishes for diners to try including a range of meats, fish and game.

The Castle Bistro offers a range of options for both lunch and dinner for diners, there is an informal atmosphere here where diners can choose from a range of dishes from pastries to pasta and pizza.

The Oak Bar offers guests a place where they can sit back and relax whilst enjoying a wide range of drinks, from soft drinks to beers to wines, spirits and whiskies there are plenty to choose from. There are also a range of cocktails to try.

Local Attractions


Attractions in the local area include the Alms Houses whilst there are a number of activities on offer at Dartmoor. Visitors can take part in a number of guided walks and tours that are available to learn more about Dartmoor and the surrounding area.

The Dorset & East Devon Coast region contains the World Heritage Site. The WHS is approx 95 miles in length and runs along the coastal route and offers visitors a range of wonderful natural coastal scenery and includes a number of historic towns and villages to visit. The coastline is rich in history and culture and has a range of beaches for visitors to enjoy.

The hotel is located close by to the village of North Bovey in Devon where visitors will find scenic natural beauty, open spaces and the inspiring landscapes associated with the region.
