There are a number of local attractions and places of interest close by to the hotel, including the historic Chelmsford Cathedral that dates back to the 13th century, Chelmsford Museum contains exhibits outlining the history of the town from the town’s beginnings up to the modern day. Hylands House is a Grade II listed 18th century country house and park it is located approx 4 miles away, tours of the house are available.

Lakeside Shopping Centre is located 20 miles away and offers over 250 shops making it one of the largest shopping and leisure complexes in the UK.

Colchester is located 25 miles away and offers visitors a number of local attractions and places of including Colchester Castle, a Grade I listed building dating back to the 12th century and Colchester Zoo located on the outskirts of the town.

The seaside resort of Clacton-on-Sea is located 40 miles away; places of interest here include the beach and the famous pier offering entertainment for the whole family. Golf aficionados can try a number of golf courses located within a few miles.
