Chislehurst Caves are located approx 12 miles away in the Kent town of Chislehurst. Here there are a series of man made tunnels stretching for approx 20 miles to form a large complex of passageways and caverns that have been dug over the years. There are three main sections to the caves Druid, Roman and Saxon with each separate section connected to the other. Visitors can take a guided tour to learn more about the caves and its fascinating history, including its role in both World Wars.

Dickens World is located close to Chatham, approx 16 miles from the hotel. Here visitors can go back in time to the Dickens period and see and smell the sights and sounds of the 19th century.
