The Office Bar offers guests a place to sit back and relax, there is a relaxed, laid back atmosphere making it a great place to catch up with family and friends. There is a choice of drinks available including a variety of beers, wines and spirits. The residents bar offers a choice of drinks and light snacks along with impressive panoramic views across the English Channel. There is entertainment in the form of darts and pool.

The dining room serves a range of meals to suit a variety of tastes. There are a number of meat, fish and vegetable dishes available and temping desserts. There is a wine list featuring wines from around the world to help you find the perfect accompaniment to your meal. There are set meals available and for a supplement an a la carte menu is available too.

The hotel is situated in Folkestone on the south coast in Kent offering visitors a scenic coastal location from which to see the various sights and attractions in the county. Kent known as the ‘Garden of England’ offers visitors plenty of history and culture, coastline, market towns and cities. Visitors can see some of the best of the English countryside making it an attractive location to enjoy a short break or holiday.

There are a number of local attractions and places of interest located in the area. The local area has a number of walking routes ideal for walking enthusiasts. The historic harbour includes a Victorian water balanced lift that is built in to the cliff face.

The Kent Battle of Britain Museum is located 4 miles from the hotel and contains a collection of artefacts and exhibitions detailing the battle of Britain during World War II, there are a number of aircraft and vehicles on display.

The Elham Valley Railway Museum is located a few miles from the hotel takes visitors back the 1930s and contains a number of artefacts, memorabilia and facts on local history, to the golden age of the railway and is built in the style of a station and platform.

Folkestone Library, Museum and Art Gallery is located in the town centre and contains a number of exhibitions with artefacts and information on local history from the beginnings of the town up to the present day. The art gallery showcases a range of changing exhibitions.

The town of Tenterten is located approx 28 miles away, is a quintessential English country town with a number of tea shops, antique shops, specialist shops and a choice of country pubs and inns. The town offers a great place to enjoy lunch and take a leisurely stroll around the shops in a town full of character.

The county of Kent is home to more country houses and historic buildings than the majority of places in the UK offering visitors with plenty of attractions. The town of Dover is a port town located approx 10 miles away with a long maritime history and is a gateway to and from mainland Europe. The famous White Cliffs of Dover are located here; they are a National Trust protected site of scientific interest and among the most recognisable landmarks in the UK.

Dover Castle offers two centuries of history and heritage and had played a key role in protecting this part of the coastline. Visitors can see the Saxon church and the remains of the Roman lighthouse, one of the oldest buildings in the UK dating back to AD50. The city of Canterbury is located approx 18 miles away on the River Stour and has historically been of great strategic and religious importance, the city is synonymous with Anglicanism. The city has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Site Status; it boasts a wealth of historical sites and attracts large numbers of visitors each year. The St Martin’s Church is the oldest parish church in England; the Canterbury Royal Museum & Art Gallery is home to an impressive collection of Roman relics and mosaics.

Canterbury is a compact city allowing visitors to take a stroll around, take in the atmosphere and see the sights. The city has a number of eateries and pubs where you can relax and enjoy food and refreshments.

Canterbury Cathedral is among the most famous attractions in Kent and along with St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church, form part of the world heritage site. The Cathedral Church was founded in 597 AD by St Augustine; the original Saxon church was destroyed by fire in the 11th century and rebuilt again. The cathedral is well known as a place of pilgrimage since the middle ages and remains so. There are guided tours and audio-tours in several languages available.

Tunbridge Wells located 48 miles away, is a Georgian spa town founded in the 17th century. The town has a regal feel to it whilst enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. The Pantiles is a colonnaded walk and has a number of cafes and shops that visitors may find interesting. A variety of festivals are held at the Pantiles each year, including an open air art exhibition and various productions of the Pantiles Palyers Theatre.

Visitors to Tunbridge Wells are attracted by the displays of Tunbridge Ware, a unique form of wooden inlaid marquetry that was traditionally made in the area for many years. Antique shops in Tunbridge Wells sell these the displays of Tunbridge Ware. Other attractions in the vicinity include Bateman's the former home of Rudyard Kipling.

Chartwell House is a manor house located approx 58 miles away; the house is best known for being the home of Winston Churchill for many years. Visitors can see the scenic gardens including the water and rose gardens that were commissioned by the Churchill’s. The house is a favourite attraction for admirers of Sir Winston Churchill and for visitors with a keen interest history and culture. The house is located in a peaceful, tranquil location in the Kent countryside making for a peaceful oasis. The house contains a range of memorabilia on Sir Winston Churchill including photographs and paintings that visitors can see when touring the house.

The Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery includes a range of exhibits of local history and culture, including Tunbridge ware, toys, dolls, archaeology and natural history. The Art Gallery contains changing exhibitions displaying a variety of art and craft including traditional and modern art and more.

Knole is located 52 miles away; it is home to one of the finest stately homes in the UK, the historic house has many historic links with kings, queens, the nobility and literary links to i.e. Virginia Woolf, making the house among the most fascinating in the UK. The stunning state rooms are preserved with 18th century authenticity, the rooms were designed to impress visitors with the wealth and societal standing of the Sackville family and they now impress the many visitors to the house. There is also the last remaining medieval deer park in Kent located here.

Leeds Castle is among the best known and visited castles in the UK. The castle is located 30 miles away and is set on two islands on the River Len in the Kent heartland. The castle has historic links to royalty and nobility stretching back over a century. Visitors can see centuries of history and view the striking interiors, family treasures and renowned architecture of the castle. The castle gardens with wild flowers and roses are synonymous with the best in English gardens. The castle offers visitors a wonderful sight, plenty of history and culture and a stunning backdrop.

Kent is also home to Hever Castle & Gardens, the historic castle dates back to the 13th century and is well known for its links with Anne Boleyn, second wide of Henry VIII. The impressive castle contains a number of collections in art works, tapestries, furniture and portraits. There are 30 acres of gardens including the acclaimed Italian garden, there is also the rose and Tudor gardens for visitors to see. There is also a Yew Maze, a Splashing Water Maze and an adventure playground for children ensuring there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. .

Chislehurst Caves are located approx 60 miles away in the Kent town of Chislehurst. Here there are a series of man made tunnels stretching for approx 20 miles to form a large complex of passageways and caverns that have been dug over the years. There are three main sections to the caves Druid, Roman and Saxon with each separate section connected to the other. Visitors can take a guided tour to learn more about the caves and its fascinating history, including its role in both World Wars.

The Museum of Kent Life is located in Maidstone, the open air museum contains a number of historical buildings that have been preserved and there are a number of exhibitions that detail life in Kent dating over 150 years. There is a farmyard along with a granary and a working farm; there is an adventure play area for children too. There is plenty to see and do here including a nature trail and boat trips. The museum offers a fun and educational day out for the whole family.

Dickens World is located close to Chatham, approx 43 miles from the hotel. Here visitors can go back in time to the Dickens period and see and smell the sights and sounds of the 19th century. There are a range of attractions here including the great expectations boat ride, Britannia theatre, haunted house and many more. There is a play area for young children.
