Poole Quay is among the largest natural harbours in the world and has a wide range of bars and restaurants, the area enjoys a continental feel and laid back atmosphere.

Bournemouth is located close by and offers attractions of its own including the beach, Bournemouth Oceanarium and Bournemouth Eye where visitors can experience a hot air balloon ride. The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is a multi-purpose leisure and conference venue is also located in the town centre.
