The hotel is independently owned and offers visitors a boutique 4 star hotel ideally located for exploring London and offers an interesting alternative to large chain hotels.

The hotel offers a range of facilities for business meetings, venues and conferences making the hotel suitable for both business and leisure guests.

The hotel is close by to a number of local attractions and places of interest in the capital. Local transport links in the area include London Bridge train station located opposite the hotel with access to regular services across London and the surrounding areas and there is good access to local bus and major roads. The closest Underground (Tube) station is also located at London Bridge and Borough tube station is located under half a mile away, both stations offer quick access across London.

The hotel offers visitors good levels of service and a warm, friendly welcome. The hotel is located in London Bridge in the borough of Southwark, London where visitors can find easy access to local amenities. The Southwark area is home to Southwark Cathedral and the famous Borough Market where visitors can find a wide array of food from around the world. There are a choice of shops, cafes and restaurants. The closest train stations are located at London Bridge, Cannon Street and Fenchurch Street.

There are a total of 138 guest bedrooms; all the rooms offer en-suite facilities and are contemporary in style. Gusts can choose from standard, twin, superior and deluxe double rooms, for extra space and more luxury there are also executive king rooms available.

Room facilities include air conditioning, television with satellite channels, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, mineral water, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. There is 24 hour room service available.

There is Wi-Fi internet access available at the hotel (chargeable) and there are no car parking facilities at the hotel, however there are NCP car parks located approx 0.5 miles away with parking costs approx £12 per day.

There is a fully featured gymnasium from Fitness First in the hotel offering a range of gym equipment including cross trainers, rowers and treadmills.

There are five conference rooms at the hotel that can be hired for a range of business meetings, events and conferences with banqueting facilities for up to 80 delegates.

Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast in the morning or a Continental breakfast with a choice of breads, preserves, fruits, yogurt and tea and coffee.

The Londinium restaurant offers a range of dishes for guests to try; the cuisine is varied and includes British cuisine with Asian influences. There are a range of meat, fish and vegetable dishes to try and there are options for vegetarians and for those with special dietary requirements. The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents and offers an enjoyable dining experience in relaxed surroundings.

The Borough Bar offers guests a range of drinks ranging from soft drinks to a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. There is a bar menu offering light snacks and meals, the relaxed laid back atmosphere here is makes it a great place to catch up with family, friends and work colleagues.

The hotel provides a good base from which to explore a number of attractions in London and local places of interest.

The hotel is situated next to London Bridge in central London offering a great location from which to see the various sights and attractions of one of the world’s great cities. London offers something for everyone there are a huge range of local shops specialising in local arts and crafts along with larger department stores and a variety of bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

There are a number of local attractions and places of interest close by to the hotel, including the South Bank, where there is the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room among others. The area has a range of arts and cultural facilities and exhibitions with a range of shops, cafes and restaurants. The London Dungeon and HMS Belfast are also in the vicinity, along with the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and the London IMAX cinema.

The World Heritage Site at Maritime Greenwich is located 6 miles away and includes attractions such as the Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum.

The world famous Hyde Park is located 4 miles away, the park offers a wonderful landscape in central London covering and area of 350 acres offering a great place to enjoy a number of walks, take part in boating, enjoy horse riding, rollerblading and eating out. Famous sights such as Marble Arch are within walking distance from Hyde Park.

Shopping in London offers visitors a huge choice of shopping facilities, the capital is home to some of the most famous shopping streets in the world including Oxford Street and Regent Street. Here visitors can find a wide range of stores to suit a range of budgets including famous department stores such as Selfridges, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser.

London is a large city with many distinct areas offering a range of attractions. To the north of London visitors can find fashionable Camden famous for its markets and alternative style. Regents Park is one of London’s top attractions offering open green spaces perfect for enjoying walks and wildlife, open air theatre, London Zoo and a range of cafes and restaurants.

South London and the surrounding areas offer attractions such as Hampton Court Palace. Clapham is known for its choice of bars and restaurants and Croydon offers one of the largest shopping centres outside of central London. East London is also the site for the 2012 London Olympics with main site in Stratford.

West London and surrounding areas offers Windsor Castle, an official residence of the Queen and Eton College, one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the UK. The world renowned Kew Gardens, one of the world’s leading botanic gardens containing a huge range of plants and fungi. Twickenham is home to the rugby stadium and fascinating Museum of Rugby. Kensington Palace is a firm favourite among visitors well known as the home of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Central London contains some of the world’s best known districts; Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair, Piccadilly and Westminster are all located relatively close to each other. The area is also a shopper’s paradise with Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street among others to explore. Close by is fashionable Carnaby Street that came to symbolise the swinging sixties. London contains many markets including famous ones such as Covent Garden Market and Portobello Road Market to many smaller ones offering visitors with plenty of choice.

The city of London square mile area is home to many financial institutions based in London. There is an extraordinary concentration of banks from all over the world, insurance firms and all types of financial institutions.

There are a number of fine historical buildings here such as Westminster Abbey located in central London. There is also Buckingham Palace in the area, possibly the most famous palace in the world, visitors can go on guided tours so see inside the palace.

The hotel provides a convenient place from which to discover a range of attractions in the surrounding areas both in central London and the outer suburbs. Visitors can use a variety of modes of transport to get around ranging from using taxis to public transport with buses, trains, Underground (Tube) and cycling with cycling hire stations available across the capital.

In Kent attractions include historic Leeds Castle, Chartwell House and the World Heritage Sites in Canterbury. Surrey is home to Hampton Court Palace, Wisley Gardens and the towns of Richmond known for Richmond Park and Guildford known for its royal castle. East Sussex is known for the south coast with the city of Brighton located one hour from London.
