Shopping in London offers visitors a huge choice of shopping facilities, the capital is home to some of the most famous shopping streets in the world including Oxford Street and Regent Street. The world renowned Kew Gardens, one of the world’s leading botanic gardens containing a huge range of plants and fungi. Twickenham is home to the rugby stadium and fascinating Museum of Rugby. Kensington Palace is a firm favourite among visitors well known as the home of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Central London contains some of the world’s best known districts; Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair, Piccadilly and Westminster are all located relatively close to each other. The area is also a shopper’s paradise with Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street among others to explore. Close by is fashionable Carnaby Street that came to symbolise the swinging sixties.
