Other local attractions include the Blue Reef Aquarium, the Smugglers' Adventure in St Clement's Caves and the Fishermen's Museum. There is also Hastings Castle and the Old Town Hall Museum.
Battle Abbey is located approx 6 miles away from Hastings in East Sussex on the site of the famous 1066 Battle of Hastings. There is an exhibition and interactive displays outlining the battle, there is an audio tour of the battle charting key events.
The city of Brighton is located approx 30 miles away along the south coast and offers a number of attractions of its own, including the famous beech and pier, historic attractions such as the Royal Pavilion and St Paul’s Church, the Theatre Royal and Brighton Dome offer a range of dance musicals, comedies and drama.
